Rova Software Announces Second Major Release of Enterprise Mobility Software

Rova DisPatch™ Software Distribution and Patch Management Program Eases Mobility Program Management

New York City, NY, April 9, 2003 - Rova Software, a leading provider of enterprise mobility software, today announced Rova Enterprise Release 2.0, now available with new features benefiting large enterprises.

One of the most difficult challenges companies face with mobility software is how to get the software and tools deployed to users. Getting the initial installation challenge addressed is a significant step, but how do patches and new software get distributed without requiring in-person desktop support or a complete software overhaul? What if different administrator rights are required for different upgrades?

Rova Enterprise 2.0 addresses this challenge by integrating Rova DisPatch, a software distribution and patch management application developed specifically with enterprise mobility in mind. Rova DisPatch is a modular software application that simplifies the deployment and upgrade of Rova Enterprise. Additionally, Rova DisPatch can be used to upgrade any software on the remote PC.

Rova DisPatch eliminates the need to schedule for, develop, and deploy CDs and in-person technical support. Printed manuals, desk-side visits, and user configuration support are all eliminated. Mobile employees simply visit the Rova management portal while on the intranet and in less than 5 minutes are fully installed and configured for secure remote access and mobile productivity.

"The addition of Rova DisPatch further strengthens the competitive position of Rova Enterprise in the market", stated Ron Spark, Rova Chief Technical Officer. "We continue to listen to our customers to improve upon our industry leading enterprise software solution. The expansion of our solution to include software distribution, patch management and upgrade capabilities eliminates the need for many organizations to use another third party software application that lacks seamless integration with a mobility platform."
